Interested in joining Hydrangea Sky Movement Arts?

Hydrangea Sky Movement Arts performs two full-length shows per year (one in Fall, one in Spring) at our home venue Old Town Center for the Arts, in addition to performing at events, festivals, and other venues.

We are a professional, full-time company in active rehearsals and collaborative development 10 months out of the year. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. 

PERFORMING ARTISTS:

We are always open to reviewing auditions to join Hydrangea Sky Movement Arts, even during periods where we are not actively hiring. You are welcome to send us your audition to [email protected] for our consideration, or request to schedule an in-person audition with us at Old Town Center for the Arts (Cottonwood, Arizona). If you are sending us your audition virtually, please include your audition video, artist photos, artist biography, and links to your professional website and professional social media account(s) (if applicable). 

STAGE CREW / TECHNICIANS:

Interested in working "behind-the-scenes" during our stage productions twice a year or at a special performance event? We are always looking for experienced stage managers, stage technicians, aerial rigging technicians, lighting designers, among other production positions during show season. APPRENTICESHIP:

Are you new to the performing arts and want to gain experience working with a professional dance company? Mentorship programs are currently in development for budding artists new to the world of dance and theatre. Contact us for more information.

VOLUNTEERS:

Hydrangea Sky Movement Arts, in addition to our regular hired staff and professional company artists, has a dedicated group of enthusiastic volunteers that help make magic happen on the stage. We partner with our home venue Old Town Center for the Arts and often seek volunteers to help our guests find their seats and help keep our venue clean in exchange for viewing a live Hydrangea Sky performance. We also seek volunteers interested in helping us meet our fundraising goals by "getting the word out" about our artistic mission in the local community.
